THIS is what I saw outside my door when I came back from the gym earlier!!!
I told the maintenance guy and his first reaction was to kill it. And so he did. At first I thought that I would get the chance to witness a nice animal rescue from some sort of snake catcher/saviour (I've probably watched too much TV...), but NO!
I didn't see the actual killing but the snake blood wasn't very nice to see. Apparently the guy who killed it had to "chop" it for several minutes before it died... I feel responsible for it's death. So now I'm a snake killer. Feels a little sad actually. Maybe he only wanted to say hello? Poor Snakey...
