Sunshine and engagement!!!

Finally, the sun broke through the mean clouds and gave us some nice weather after the ridiculous amounts of rain and thunderstorms. Worth to celebrate!

The celebration continued when we got to know that our dear friends Marta and Bobo just got ENGAGED!!! Congratulations you little lovebirds.

Good things kept happening as we spent the afternoon at the wonderful Tweed family's house for an amazing Italian dinner! Great day!

Meet Harley and Bandit! Their home got flooded so they're now taking a little vacation at our place for a while. Their favorite interests are climbing, peeing, chasing each other under the bed, sniffing feet, eating toilet paper and playing with golf balls.

Ben & Jerry's is pretty well known in Sweden by now but the range of flavors can't even be compared to the US one. There's a new flavor on the market now - "Late night snack", containing vanilla bean ice cream, a salty caramel swirl and fudge covered POTATO CHIP clusters! America, you did it again....

Flash flooding and monster thunderstorms...

I definitely didn't bring the lovely Swedish spring weather to Branson... The day after I arrived, I experienced my first tornado alarm. Since then, it's basically been raining and storming constantly. The thunder is ridiculous! Sounds like the earth is exploding when it rolls. Flash flood warnings all over the Midwest. Fingers crossed that those tornadoes stay away.....

Apparently, golfing is the trendiest activity for Swedes to waste time and money on in Branson at the moment. A full set of clubs was waiting for me when I arrived so I didn't really have a choice. There is a driving range close to Turtle Creek where we live so I had my first session the other day. Fun times!

So Americans obviously like bacon... A lot. They put it in everything and I mean EVERYTHING.
